FAMILY HISTORY
On January 1, 1935, Ben Kaufman (b. November 14,1911; died September 18, 2000) married Rose Lebowitz (b. 1913).
And in October, 1998 they looked like this -
Ben and Rose Kaufman live in Scranton, PA. They had four children, Dorothy (b. March 25, 1936), Lois (b. June 5, 1939), Harold (b. February 15, 1942), and Alan (b. April 29, 1944).
Dorothy (1936) married Jerome Paul Kaplan (1935) on June 29, 1958.
They live in Allentown, PA where Jerry is a dentist and Dottie teaches part time at both Lehigh and Northampton County Community Colleges. Jerry enjoys singing in two men's choruses, Lehigh Valley Harmonizers and Summer Harmony, where he is Assistant Director. And he also sings lead with the barbershop quartet, Audible Difference. Dottie enjoys sewing (some of her handiwork for children and adults), cooking, and reading. They have three children:
Scott (b. October 25, 1961) married Lynn Berkley (b. April 19, 1956) on November 29, 1985. (Read more about Lynn's family).
Scott, Lynn, Alex, and Cameron live in San Francisco, CA. Alexander Berkley was born September 1, 1988 and Cameron Elizabeth was born April 21, 1998
The family was thrilled to be together on February 9, 2002 to celebrate Alex's bar mitzvah.
Stephanie (b. December 27, 1963) is a dental hygienist and she and her three children live in Allentown, PA. Travis Adam (b. March 9, 1987) Kailee Marie (b. October 13, 1993) and Shelbi Lynne (b.March 13, 1996)
Brad (b. August 25, 1965) has twin daughters, Madison Devon and Erin Rose born February 11, 2000
Brad is an attorney in San Francisco at the law firm of O'Connor and Associates
